Places — Google Places

Every place on Florence.city — restaurants, cafés, hotels, attractions and the rest — along with its details, ratings, review counts, opening hours, and photos, comes from Google Places. Photos carry their Google attribution. How those places are scored and ordered is explained in How we curate.

Maps — MapTiler & OpenStreetMap

Our maps use map tiles from MapTiler AG and contributors, with underlying map data © OpenStreetMap contributors, rendered with the open-source MapLibre GL.

Weather — Open-Meteo

The live weather and sunset time on our home page come from Open-Meteo.

Nothing paid

Nothing on Florence.city is paid, sponsored, or affiliate-driven, and we show no advertising. At launch we are Google-only discovery — we link out to Google for the live source of truth, and add no booking or affiliate partners yet. More on our method in How we curate.
