These Terms govern your use of Florence.city (the "Service"), operated by AI EDGE CONSULTING S.R.L. (società unipersonale), Viale Spartaco Lavagnini 70/72, 50129 Firenze (FI), Italia ("we", "us", "our").

By accessing the Service you agree to these Terms.

What Florence.city is

Florence.city is a curated directory of places to eat, drink, stay, and visit in Florence. Every place shown was sourced from Google Places, cleared a quality floor, and was ranked by a transparent weighted score based on six inputs: rating, review count, geo-centrality, recency, category-completeness, and source-agreement.

Listings are ranked by an algorithm, not by editors. Guides — when present — are clearly labelled as editorial. Nothing on the Service is paid or sponsored. We display no advertising and accept no compensation from listed venues.

Permitted use

You may use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes — discovering places, planning a visit, sharing a link with a friend.

Prohibited use

You may not:

  • Scrape, crawl, or automate extraction of the directory in bulk;
  • Use the Service or its data to build a competing product;
  • Interfere with the operation of the Service (e.g. denial-of-service, attempting to gain unauthorised access);
  • Use the Service for unlawful purposes;
  • Misrepresent any listed venue, or impersonate Florence.city.

Information accuracy — disclaimer

Place information on the Service is sourced from Google Places. We refresh data approximately every 10 days, but information may still be outdated between refreshes. Opening hours, prices, menus, availability, and contact details should always be verified directly with the venue before you rely on them — especially before visiting.

We do not own, operate, manage, or guarantee any listed venue. We are not responsible for:

  • The accuracy or completeness of place information;
  • The availability, conditions, or service quality at a listed venue;
  • Any experience, dispute, transaction, or outcome between you and a listed venue;
  • Any third-party content reachable via outbound links from the Service.

Place photographs are sourced from Google Places under Google's Terms of Service and remain the property of Google or their respective licensors.

No affiliate or sponsored content (V2.0)

As of this version of the Service, we do not host affiliate links, sponsored content, paid placements, or any commercial relationship with listed venues. If this changes in a future version, we will update these Terms and the Method section of the home page to clearly disclose the nature of any commercial relationship.

Limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for matters that cannot be excluded or limited under Italian law, including consumer rights under the Codice del Consumo (D.Lgs. 206/2005).

Governing law and venue

These Terms are governed by Italian law. Any dispute arising from your use of the Service that cannot be resolved by good-faith discussion shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Firenze, Italy. Where you are a consumer resident in another EU Member State, mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence apply where they grant you greater protection.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The effective date at the bottom of this page indicates the version. Material changes will be highlighted at the top of this page for at least 30 days. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
